R3M singleshot tray!

A friend of mine has made his own singleshot tray and he asked me to show it to you.
I think he did a pretty good job!

I’m in for one in 25 cal, LMK if and when available.
I just want a complete single load changeover from ED. I think it would be cool to have a convertible. But I’d like to get a single .25 std. in the meantime also if I could find one where I could work a fair deal. I like buying guns but I am terrible at selling, I can see have 4 or 5 edguns in due time.
So he bought a new Edgun after all. 🙂

i like the idea, it is very nice, i hope i can get one,
i believe this new product has its own specialty for each one, i think this single shot tray is good for the MS owners like me, not for the R3 owners or those who has got both versions, or a persons like Oldgoat, Sir Ville, Hoot,Demp…… why? because they have already the single shot version, but not for the MS owners, we do like this item also, why? as a a backup for the Clips and if we want to shot with a single loading we can use this, instead of buying a single shot breech.

Of course it is but you need to change the forwardmost part/transferport housing as well. That, my friend, comes with the MS kit.

At the last 100 Meter match of this year I showed my R3 to my friend.
He immediately offered me money for it, ha ha!
So he went to the dutch seller of the Matadors, Joost.
There he was told that recently Ed is only making R3M’s the R3 are out of stock.
So if he realy wanted an Matador it would be a ms.
Now there was a problem.
He has his reasson’s, but it had to be a ss.
So he made this sst him selfe, just to try if it was possible.
He asked me to put some pics on Talon,
I think he was curious of the opinion of you all!
I do not think this is an commercial offer.
The quality looks like it is though…
It is fitted in the latest version of the R3M.
That ms breech is not exchangeable with the R3.

And what MS version are we currently on, still R3M or R3M2, R3.5M or R4M?
Isn´t there anyone,anywhere offering a nice SS tray for the Cricket ?? I don´t care the MS at the range and i don´t hunt with an Airgun.
Thus i need / want a SS tray for the Cricket. Nevr needed a MS on the EdGun either.
H 😯 😯 T actually have a very valid point – exactly what i thought when i read the post. That SS tray looks like a well made piece though and if i was a owner of an MS EdGun i´d like to have one. Doesn´t cure the rough action though … 😥
Now somebody needs to come up with a nice machined piece for the Cricket and i´ll be all over it !

Nice job on the tray.
There are MANY multi-shots that have single shot trays. 😉 It’s like 2WD & 4WD, you don’t run 4WD when you don’t need it, but you have it when you need it.
I made one for my Cricket and would likely make one for a multi-shot EdGun when the conversion is available for the 177 caliber. Competition and bench shooting is the primary purpose of having a single shot tray.
Very nice design. Now we have single and multishot both. Make the bolt easy to pull.

Not all situations need multi shot 😉
I image shooting off a bench is annoying with multishot, having to stop every 10 shots and fill up a mag again.
That’s awesome. Is that a spring tension ball bearing? Good idea for shooting bigger pellets
I love that idea, cause sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t. 😀
