R3M standard/long specs
I want to buy an Edgun R3M .25 cal but also want to determine which length configuration suits me best. Can anyone tell me what kind of shot count I can expect from the long and standard lengths? In addition, what are their respective length and weight measurements?

My R3M LOng 25 gets around 70 shots at 930 fps jsb kings – with 200 bar fill — great gun go for it, you wont be sorry
My r3m 25 standard is getting about 45-50 shots at 875fps but that is lower than some other have reported. For what I understand, the longs are getting 70 or so shots per fill once the py have been broken-in adjusted below 900fps(all numbers referring to jsb 25 grain pellets).

It would seem the smaller calibers would have a higher shot count than the larger calibers. Usually, this is true. However, if you are shooting a heavy .17 at high velocities, and a light .25 at standard velocities, there may be very little difference.
A lot of factors involved. FPS, pellet weight, capacity of air tube, regulator setting, HST adjustment, max PSI fill, even air temperature….
Everyone shoots a little differently.
I donĀ“t think itĀ“s that easy. ThereĀ“s more to that than just the Pellet weight and the size of the bore. However , iĀ“ve known to be wrong (once- i didnĀ“t know it was a Donkey) so my “facts” arenĀ“t necessarily THE Fact.
Then again – iĀ“m one of the wisest Men in Sweden so my estimation canĀ“t be that far off …
My R3 22 long (old style reg) would get appx 115 regulated shots with JSB 18s at 885fps.
I’ve since retuned to 20fpe gun and have yet to do full shot count but I would guess around 140-150.
My R3 25 long (new style reg) gets appx 72-74 regulated shots with JSB 25s at 940fps.
Specs on Eds site are for 22 I think.

I’ve seen this. But I’m a little confused about shot count. It says lengths 680/745/890 mm get 50/70/90 shots respectively per fill. Wouldn’t these numbers be different for each caliber?

I asked Ed before buying what the specs of the standard .25 would be. He wrote me about 40 shots. I bought it last december, its a R3M.
I am getting about 40 shots at 930 fps. Filling 220-120 bar, after that i can get some shots for hunting but the speed is lower.
The mm’s on the site are correct, the standard is about 75 cm.
