Q:

Rabbit Magnums

Does anyone use the H and N Rabbit Magnum 2 pellets?
I just got 4 tins in .22 and regret that I didn’t get more.Anyone know if they come in .25 (haven’t been able to find them if they do) or another good pellet that is similar, with the bullet shape, in .25?

quote njnoodles:

I shoot them from my 22 Cal Condo/17 cal Codor at in the 860FPS Range. I’ve only shot them at 125 ft and they group tight and hit really hard

Are you speaking of the Wasps or the Rabbits? I’m definitely gona buy a few more Rabbits, and perhaps 1 Wasp to see for myself.
IMO the bullet shaped pellets hit very hard.

test

No chronograph so I can’t be exact but these shots were with a full tank on my Condor and the setting set to 8.

So IYO the “Wasps” aren’t that good? I was gona get a tin to try them out, thanks for the heads up,their a bit on the expensive side.
Can you recommend a .25 or .22 pellet with a solid bullet shape?

I got quite excited about them after the dismal faliure of the Eley Wasp Mags. I have not heard good things about these pellets.
How fast you shooting them??

Are these the ones your talking about? I think they shoot pretty good.

This was a exit shot at about 25 yards. Those are the front and backs of spent pellets after going through a empty tin, some cardboard boxes,a sheet of plywood, and then leaving a NICE size dent in a sheet of metal .

I have tested some but am not impressed. They also shear of part of their skirt when shot.

Cheers
