Ok so this is what my guy has come up with since passing drawings back and forth.
this is his rifle and the pics are a bit shrunk as you can see. mines in the post still are i hate royal mail even more now (rant over).

The shroud buts up to the breach and rests over the body tube, on the underside of the shroud he’s used a bull nose cutter to get the radius. then the i/d of it has been open’ed out (bit past the barrel band area) for air to pass back. it then finnishes about two inches passed the muzzel and has an end cap with male 1/2 unf thread to attach a baffled break if i want. got a custom HW style one thats going to be used for that.
i’ve not got the reduction in lenght but its only as long as the 24″ barrel version so happy.
Just got to fit the shroud baffels when it comes and test.
Bean said “Can’t speak to the shipping issue but a TKO shroud will need to extend past the barrel as far as his brakes do to get the same performance, so figure a minimum of 5.5 inches (past the barrel) on his 6.5 inch brakes.”
If the shroud had the 2 holes drilled in back part of it. like on my Air Arms S410, that will help with air diversion, and I believe would let the shroud be shorter……ask Mike at TKO about it though, he’s THE MAN on that stuff 😀 😀 😀
😀 getting my new shroud this weekend hehe ,will post some pics up when it on.
Heres one of many I built. Ironically it has a TKO brake and it is featured on Alejandro’s sight 😮 It does have some of AC’s parts though….(mine is the second one down with the foregrip.

The one I posted with the wood stock… I forget the barrel length but it ends an inch plus short of the CO2 endcap (that’s a 2260 tube on there). I’m just not sure you are going to get more than a couple inches back in length and with a shroud that long plus shipping it’s going to get more expensive than what I’ve been ordering.
Thanks for shareing the photos and info gents, some real nice set ups there. my current silencer is the carbon fibre model which i’ve moded to be very quiet but with the 18″ barrel and that attached its much longer than my stealth so my thoughts were to get a shroud to try and get it even quieter and reduce the overall lenght.
Heres mine before i got the new hawke Scope.

Seems a shame to cover up the nice polished barrel but it would be protected i guess.
AC dont ship shrouds to me so i will contact TKO to se what he thinks but i’m kind of wondering if its a legal thing from state to state, maybe you could clear things up a little there?
roach…
I have to agree with you, the TKO brakes do work well on the the disco and other HPA conversions. I’ve also heard good responses to his MRod add ons.
I almost had him make an add on for my EDgun but ended up selling it. (Wish I kept it because I’m beginning to look at other stuff in that and higher price ranges now).
Bottom line was that my last disco with a 7.5″ TKO was still louder than worst 22xx with the smaller TKO brake. But keep in mind that not a single one of my nosey neighbors ever complained about any of them. They did complain about my Benji 392 with a mere 3 pumps…. So we are not talking LOUD.

This one is the smallest and the cheapest TKO makes. I am pushing a little over 700 FPS with HPA so that gives you an idea of the volume I am pushing thru it.
Having never heard one fart I can’t comment on mouse fart quiet, but from experience I would say it is a little quieter than a refined lady farting at the opera. 😆

Very nice looking rigs for sure.
You can give AC a call also to see if he does.

Sweet!!
I’ve got more of Mike’s (tko’s) stuff than I want to admit spending $$ on. His brakes work very well on the 22xx CO’s… The volume isn’t there for the HPA stuff (think disco) but he will build you anything you want, he made both of these to my specs … (these are not the normal/stock brakes)

No, I don’t have any personal experience with him, or his work. I just followed the link and looked at his site. Sorry. I have a 1377 that I bought in 1985. I have shot thousands of rounds through it. I also have two 2250B’s that are great little target guns. Then there is the 2260 with a Crosman steel breech…it’s OK, nothing to brag about. I think that the 2250B is a better performer. Maybe if I did some mods the 2260 would impress me more. All of these guns are stock. I discovered PCP guns and kind of moved on. Good luck with yours.
Yeh i like the look of them, thanks for the heads up Packrat. kind of envy you guys over there as it seems that there’s loads of people you can go to for one off’s but here its really limmited.
I’ed be happy with one that butts up to the barrel band in a simple black finnish, maybe a silver band at the tip to match the breach. the prices look right too so hopfully he might export over here if not theres a bloke that made my silencer for the stealth thats keen to look at it but need some plans first.
Steve have you had any work done by him?
