The 600 nitro express is a powerfull cartridge, but a revolver in this caliber is a BULLSHIT.

The recoil i hear isnt nearly as bad as you would think due to its massiveness and weight. 13 pounds about. More than a rifle in most cases anyway. Quoted from website: The gun weighs in at total of 13.23lbs and consequently is heavy enough to absorb most of the violent recoil. In fact it is said to be on scale to firing the Smith & Wesson .50 Magnum.

What does a 30-06 have? This one says it has up to 10,000 ft.lbs when shot from the pistol. Even more when used in a rifle.
How much energy would the 06 lose if fired from that short of a barrel?
