Q:

Red dot scope on PCP gun ?

I ask this question in the scope section and did not get an answer? Did I stump everyone,
Please do not make me go to AGN to ask this question?    I am not sure how long there on sale for, So I really need an answer,

Do you have to get these rated for Pellet guns?
Like if your going to shoot something at 10 yards is the parallax going to be right? I was thinking about putting one on top of my scope so when I walk up on a rabbit in the bush, Or the euro dove that lands 10 feet in front of me.
Or is there something better,

anybody found the gun on the picture?

Kind of looks like my Vulcan in NV mode haha

Now that’s what I call a loaded gun, Little on the heavy side I am sure,
I looks pretty neat in a sick kind of way,
Mike

I recommend the primary arms advanced micro dot. That is a good compromise of price/quality. Plus you can leave it on 100% of the time just like the micro h1 or whatever the equivalent was.

Are you planning on putting this red dot in an offset?

I can tell you with halo or red dot sights you get what you pay for. If you’re not willing to spend at least 400 on one I wouldn’t bother

Dang Soze, you got enough sighting equipment on that sucker??? Acog, Holo, and BUIS… Got a laser on the front too?? :suprisedn: :suprisedn:

MIke,
I have an EoTech that I’ve been thinking about adding at an offset on my vulcan for those real close shots… I have an AR with BUIS mounted at 45 degrees offset to the scope, and they are very quick to acquire on a moving target. Since there’s no good place to mount a front sight on the Vulcan, I thought I’d try that Holo sight to see if it would work.

Really. I never heard that. I have 18 quarts of Mobile 1 4T 10W-40 sitting on the shelves from when it went on sale. :biggrinn: Looks like the 1000 takes 3.7 quarts. I saw some guy on Stromtrooper reached 424,000 miles on his older Strom. They are amazing bikes.

Thanks guys , I was planning on putting it on top of scope, If to high then doing a side mount,
But you guys convinced me, you can not get off cheap on a dot scope , I was hoping.
Almost to good to be true, Glad I ask before trying,
I guess the next set up for close up is a lazar,?

Yes Secoda get that break in crap out of there NOW!
All my new bikes I buy, I make them drain the 1qt of machine oil out of the crank before they add the break in oil. Before the bike is even started!!! Bad stuff to run an engine on,
Thats right Suzuki comes with about .5 to 1 qt machine oil shipped in there motors that the shops do not drain out.
Get it out asap and add Mobil one 10-40 or 20-50 your flavor,
Mike

Hoot: has a red dot on his scope. Using his mutant, you could pm him

I have two Holo EOTechs. One on my PRod and another on an AR. I think I got them for about $350 each on sale. They are very robust for high powered PBs but not sure about that reverse springer kick if that is what you are asking.

About half way through the break-in on my new V-Strom 1000. :biggrinn: I guess I will switch to Mobile 1 4T on the 600 mile change.
