Q:

Reduce air waste in pump hose ?

I heard that it might be possible to add a price of weed eater line inside the hose of a pump and reduce the air wasted on disconnect ? It would work in a fill station hose ? Any truth on this matter ? I tried to search, but couldn’t find any info. Thanks.

better tip is do away with fill line completley and screw bottle charging adapter straight into pump body or direct into scuba bottle, then just screw bottle onto fill adapter and fill, no wasted air at all and no more worn kinked hoses to worry about,, buddy bottle guns should all be filled this way,
obviously resevour rifles need a hose ,, 😀

Ya, I can’t say if it would make much of a difference myself.

I have both types of hose and even with a hand pump I can’t tell the difference that much, maybe 1-2 pump less ?
I also think that if you make it to small it might act like a regulator/limiter and make fill a gun/tank even slower.

Use a micro bore hose.

Not sure why even bother. Unless you have a very long hose, there is not that much air in the line. I might be missing something here though. Let us know what you come up with!
