Q:

Refill Clamp gauge threads

Hi guys,

I smashed my refill adapter gauge today and I need another one. I’ve found some good replacement gauges to order but I’m not sure what the thread type is on the gauge. Is it 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 NTP?

I measured with calipers at the base of the gauge where it meets the adapter and it looks like the ouside of the thread is .409, which would lead me to think its 1/8 NPT?

I really dont know anything about threads, so any help you can give is appreciated.

Gabe, you might want to double check that, I’m pretty sure the gauges are 1/4″ NPT. I just got a replacement from my local NAPA, with UPS and taxes it came to about $13. See ya!

Dave

OK, just for reference, I did find out the treads are 1/8″ NPT.
