Q:

Refill Tank

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am a newbee here and this is my first post. I am getting ready to purchase a Talon SS. I am in the process of putting together a list of everything I will need for it. I am just not sure on what to get for the refill (dive) tank. Any advise or information would be great and if you can add anything that I might need please feel to mention it.
Thanx
Jeff

Some tanks are 3000 psi and other 3300 psi. The higher the PSI the better because you will get more fills but he price does come up.

3000? Wouldn’t 4500psi scuba tank be much better? The price should not be much different. From 4500psi tank (12litres) you can fill 30-40 times depending of how low pressure you shoot.

And welcome Jeff!

Hi Jeff and welcome,

With your Airforce gun you need the fill adapter and a scuba tank with a K valve. There are aluminum tanks and steel tanks. See what your budget can afford. Some tanks are 3000 psi and other 3300 psi. The higher the PSI the better because you will get more fills but he price does come up. A standard 3000 psi scuba tank will suffice. You will just have to go get it filled more often.

Buy your tank from a local scuba shop and often they will give you deals on fills.

Hope this helps!
