reg tester
just another idea, maybe if a suitable adapter would be found, the venting grubscrew hole could be used to fit a manometer to it. i take it that is post reg so it will give the true reading of the current reg setting
must be a tough little adapter/fitting, with a little gauge on it, the smaller the better. and not to be used very often/so you don’t mess up the threading.
this is not a tool to adjust the reg, but just to get a reading. 😀

our American friends on here seem to be trying to guess what their regs are set to.

I have a feeling there may soon be adaptors for these testers so any tester will be “one size fits all”.
Just one question: What if the reg isn’t set where you want/need it to be ? What does knowing its current, but wrong, working pressure help ? Not trying to be an Ass here – i just don’t get the point.
no I am not interested in any special “high value” tooling. just need a fitting for a wika manometer. was looking at airbrush adaptors, but at this stage the threading size and pitch is not clear.
I have got the same for my HW100 and works perfectly. the fitting was something like 3quid.
kris if you want a reg tester you will have to buy an edgun/cricket tester like Ville told you an add a sleeve. Contact dman1114 he may have one available?
No. I´m saying it´s the only way to do it if you want to change the reg settings. I also say it takes about 10 min to accomplish – incl the bleeding/refill of AT if one isn´t a complete Moron.
And to cap the subject : It´s not adviceable to bleed the AT using the bleed screw anyway. It will start to leak eventually. REAL tuners use a device that can be screwed in the HSTA hole when , of course , the hammerspring is first removed .. And i got my genuine KalibrGun tester for free. 10 $ ? It´s easier to use ie Cricket reg tester with appropriate sleeve/spacer done to it.

ok I can confirm that I successfully measured my regulator output. purely with the manometer and the brass adapter. the air cylinder had to come out of the action. so quite a bit of fuxing involved hehehe
but it was cheap and I am happy to know what is it set to.
to adjust it, well it may need a few iterations, but all you need to measure its original length and turn it in or out by a known length. I hope it helps.
p.s. my gun has got a vent hole with the blanking grubscrew
