3,000 or 4500psi may have smaller high pressure ports as they must shutoff a higher pressure.
The internals will be the same most likely as the downstream pressures are the same one reg to another.

What is yours doing?

I,m going to tell you one more time if you want a consistant reg. 2000 psi set pressure Air hog is selling them only, and they are 4500psi rated regs. where as the others are 3000 psi rated regs. they bleed off and are not as consistant past like 1600 psi settings.

I gotta call bull pucky on that last statement.
if a reg is regulating they will not ‘bleed off’ if a reg bleeds any direction it is not a functioning regulator.
There will not be any difference in any regs no matter the brand if they are functioning. They all use the same piston, shutoff and spring pack design.

So some of what you are getting from Airhog may indeed be hype.

Walter….

Hmmmmmmm! If that is the case then mine isn’t functioning….Is a 4,500psi reg better than a 3,000psi reg?

Walter….

I ordered two 48 CI tanks from ExpertHPA.com (I think that’s Matt?) with ANS regulators set to 1400.

Sounds like it’ll do exactly what I want it to do: push a CPH 10.5 down the pipe at 950 fpm +/- and do it a lot of times on a fill. Local paintball shop gets $3 for a fill. Can’t hardly buy the setup for a scuba tank for that!

Excellent info! Thanks to all for posting it!

Thanks for the info swynn and maw, I am going to check with both to see what is available and I will probably just send this one back to jdsairman…
Thanks again

Ha mamcrackin….

Its a ANS brand and yes it only rated at 3000psi,but so is the gun.

Hey Shelby, what kind of regulator do you have
(brand Name) and can you give me a link or some
way to get a hold of Mat Bean? I would like to talk
to him about a regulator…

Wow….Those are some great results….I am having an aweful time with regulated 2,000psi .22 24″ Condor with no hammer weight….I am getting as much as 100fps deviation in a 6 shot string….I might try turning the PW down and see what happens….I was running 10/10 and 12 PW…I am getting plenty shots but no consistancy at all….
Thanks for posting those strings…At least now I know it is possible….
