Q:

regulator for condor

I want to use a regulator & 4500 psi bottle on a ccondo. I was thinking of using a jdsairman regulator but cant figure out how to connect it to my valve since the e-tac seems to no longer be available. the e-tac reg & adapter would add 3 1/2″ to lop if it was still available so would need a 10 to 10 1/2″ bottle to keep it close to stock lop. would like to stay with at least the same volume as the stock condor bottle. Can I just screw the regulator into my talon tunes tank adapter & then to the bottle? Can someone recommend a good combination ?
One more question, if I am shooting with 2400 psi without reg. now will a reg set at 2400 psi obtain the same velocity or will I need to get reg. set higher to compensate for lack of volume ?
I know these are newbe questions but I gota start learning sometime & I know you guys have the answers.

Thanks mphunts

A jdsairman.com AIRFORCE Regulator Adapter

Converts your Condor or Talon to a Regulated gun.
You can use your Stock Tank along with my AF 3000psi Regulator
You can use any of my Tanks with my Standard 3000psi Regulator

To use your Stock Tank you remove the Valve from your Tank and
screw it into one end of the Adapter. Then you remove the Bonnet,
Spring and Pin from the AF Regulator and screw the Regulator
Body and Washer Assembly into the other end of the Adapter.

To use one of my Tanks you would use my Standard Regulator and
the Valve from your Stock Tank.

Think I have it figured out. Should know soon & I will post results & how to.

Mphunts, did you ever figure this out? I am looking at the same set up for the past few months with no resolution. I have googled and searched every forum i can find asking about the co2 adapter but have not found anything. I am looking at running my 22 condor with 24 in barrel at a regulated 2300 psi with the tt tank adapter to drop the tank a little. Starting to wwish i would have built this one first instead of my crosman hpa guns.

I am shooting 28.4 gr eunjin @ 1010 right now between 2200psi-2400 psi

I was personally told by jdsairman through email that I would need the co2 adapter to use his regulators with my condor. He also advised me to select 2000 psi when ordering for around 900 to 950 fps in .22. I will be buying his regulator soon, and plan to give a full report.

I love the accuracy of my condor ss but hate the inconsistent shot string. I wish airforce would offer a regulated bottle in the future seems like there is huge market for this. Airforce knows their guns the best and the gun needs one I believe.

Look my video setup?

This gun has a JDS regulator set at 1800 psi, acording to hammer weight i can get from 830 until 870 with JSB 18 grains..
I believe that 2000 psi is enough output pressure

I have the co2 adapter but was wanting a e-tac with drop & rh cast off to try a 48/4500psi bottle, cant seem to find one. my .22 condor now shoots best at 2200-2400 psi, dont know if it will be different with a reg or not. Let me know what you end up with & how it works for you. thanks mphunts

Look mi Talon

2400 psi is high pressure, what do you want?
I believe for 50 fpe in .25 2200 psi is enough.

You wont find a 4500 psi bottle that size….
