Regulator for Marauder that keeps pressure guage

I’m planning on doing some upgrades on a 25 caliber Marauder, one of them is to add a regulator. The only one I saw that allows you to keep a functional pressure gauge is the Altros. The lane and Huma at best will only let the existing guage show the regulated pressure. Am I right? Does it pay to add an air tank extension?
