Riff is spot on: Rem made an apology to Wok’s satisfaction.
That part of the saga – per Wok’s own statement on the same – should be history;
only to be reopened at Wok’s bidding.
The actual TAG excommunication, if you would, is somewhat superfluous.
MY POINT, however, is secondary to the Rem-Wok interaction-gone-south. I was
merely pointing out for Rem that the initial general post was taken badly – a proverbial
‘shot across our bow’ – by the TAG community independent of the Rem-Wok interaction.
And that the subsequent shenanigans over the scope offer was tantamount to standing
in a cave, looking down at a hibernating Grizzly and poking it with a pointed stick; for
no other reason than to do so.
That’d piss off the bear. That’d piss us off to. (And apparently has!) Situations like that
can only end badly, imho.

I dont care if he still hangs around as long as he doesnt expect anyone to believe him. So far he hasnt personally attacked anyone and WOK and him have settled the issue amongst themselves.

The issue was going to be settled by giving away

No, he had already settled up with WOK. How many times did Adam say that and was ignored in the heat of the arguement? This issue had nothing to do with US.
This whole giveaway bullshit scheme was thought up to see how many of us would admit to doing something similar to him. He was then going to say something to the effect of “See now, Im not such a bad guy am I”?
He fooked up and was trying to justify it by example.
Lucky for us, nobody “really” fell for it. And unless I missed something, I sure as hell dont feel he owes me a damn thing other than the truth.

Remy: If you’ve perused TAG to/with any depth at all (quite literally, any
depth), you would have quickly ascertained a few things about its inhabitants:
- 1. We’re not wilting lilies nor shrinking violets,
2) We’re (overly) opinionated,
3) We’re (overly) educated; at least on those topics we’re so inclined to
take interest in,
4) We’re a tad bit vindictive, and
5) Generally speaking, we’re easily ‘set-off’; primarily because…
We’re (if I may be so bold) a group of redneck, gun tot’n, politically pissed-off,
ammunition storing, “against the machine” raging, internet savvy, tight-knit,
well distributed, group of MFing willing attitude adjusters that have nexused in
time and space; from all aspiring walks of life, creeds, races, etc., etc… 😀
