Q:

Reminder lesson for me….

😳

owning airguns and not getting to shoot that often you tend to forget the little things… and maybe everything

First temperature change:
I did a short shot string yesterday attempting to fine tune one of my 25 calibers. (30 shots avg 881 FPS, SD 3, 62 degrees F) slightly overcast

Continued my shot string for another 30 shots today at fill pressure from day before. (30 shots avg 900 FPS, SD 6, 74 degrees F)
Apparently not a good idea. 10 degrees change in the sun with a black gun 😳

Second Parallax/cheek anchor:
Well Picture tells the story. After figuring out what the hell was wrong I noticed my parallax knob was slightly off and was amazed what a difference it makes. 😕 😳
Bottom of picture 10 shots at 30meter

Yep – I shoot all year round and pretty know what to expect of my main guns as the seasons change so I no longer even bother adjusting them. The few times I have been forced to pause for extended periods I basically have to start over as far as gun behavior goes. 😆 Everything is temporary and always changing.

You live and you learn, sometimes you learn twice  :thumb:
