Q:

Can someone tell me how to remove safety so gun will stiil work. I TRIED TO PUT NEW TRIGGER GUARD ON AND THE STINKING LITTLE SPRING WENT FLYING SO I took safety wire out but gun will not cock or fire. My Condor is dead now and that little spring is lost. Thanks for any help.

If I cock the gun with the muzzle pointing straight up the safety will engage. So I see why you take that safety piece right out of the gun. That pic sure clears things up though. Thanks Sam.

You need to remove the safety Baulk piece . To do that You need to remove the two silver pins going through frame holding the safety baulk piece.

Look closely at the frame the pins are bigger on one side, drive them out from the opposite side of the frame, remove safety baulk piece and put pins back into the frame.

With the safety baulk piece spring in the frame, you wouldn’t be able to release the safety, without the spring the safety is gravity activated, holding the muzzle down and cocking will release the safety, otherwise the gun won’t fire…?

Safety Baulk Piece : is the part also needed to be removed to completely disable the safety.

As I said lost the small safety spring so I removed the safety rod and the last spring that is at a horizontal just ahead of the safety piece but gun would still not cock. So I placed the trigger edge under the piece right next to it and sonofabitch it cocked.Put the rest of Adam’s custom parts on my gun and tried it out and it works very well only no safety. I hope that is the right way to remove the safety. Still not sure. Didnt realize there was 5 springs in the trigger linkage. Hope there is no surprise when I put in Tony’s custon hammer.
