Remove the top hat: problems…
I’m trying to disassemble the TopHat. I removed the two small screws, but when i try to turn the TopHat to remove it, they turn all, the TopHat and the stem at the same time. The tank are empty.
Are there a trick to do it? 😳

I think you also need to remove the valve, there is a screw inside which locked the stem. Once it unscrewed, remove the spring, then remove the stem.

You might need to keep air in the tank so the stem wont turn. Most steps are marred up from the grub screws, and the tophat has to be turned off with a little force.

It looks to me like the seal is pressed onto the stem? Ive never had mine apart.
