Repost from Yellow… A few Groups and Guns

figured I’d post this here as well…

Did just a little shooting over the weekend.
Brought out the M10 30 cal from mrodair.com and ran a group through it. Looked good so I moved on…

Drug out the BSA R-10 next and just wasnt feeling the love with it today for some reason.

Next was a regged Talon in .177. Hard to complain about this group.

I put it away while I was ahead and went for the Condor from Talon Tunes in .25
Tried some Kodiaks… no love

Then moved on to JSB’s. A bit better for me.

Older pic, but Condor is the bottom gun and the Talon I was shooting is the next one up.

Then moved on to the Royale .25. I had almost traded this gun for a Cricket in .25. Kinda glad I didnt now, though I did pull one shot. Still, the Cricket in .25 intrigues me. Maybe one day I’ll pursue another trade.

Did an ok group with my latest, a Webley Spectre in .177. Really liking this gun, though I’m finding the Aeon scope a little hard to get in focus.

from this, moved on to the QB78 of my bow herd. It’s a cheap Chinese bow, but just like the QB78, I have a lot of fun with it. Certainly not as ‘refined’ as some of my other bows, but I do enjoy shooting it. Shot just a few groups and put it away. You think it’s hard finding the right pellet for an airgun? Try finding just the right arrow for a bow. Bear in mind I’m not a great shot with a bow so my groups reflect that. All shots at 23 yards.

First with some cedar arrows I put together.

Then with some Chinese arrows. Marked ‘Eldest Wang’ and yes…they shot like an old dick.

Then some quality (more or less) carbon arrows.

and results were repeatable.
