Considering I fought Muy Thai competitively for years and come from a boxing family where my father was professional boxer and light weight contender for the title it is easy to see the back seat fight nannies a mile away.
“Not a great champion” what bullshit. Her record is there for anyone to see, Cat Zingano, Sara Kaufman, Liz Carmouche, Miesha Tate, Beth Corriera were the best in that division and she ran through them all.
She defended and held that title longer then any of them for a reason. Holms one fight lost title to Tate, who Rousey beat 2x, then Tate can only hold the title for one fight.
She got beat, anyone in the fight game knows that it happens to everyone. And it will happen to Nunes one day as well.

Ronda was a victim of her own ego and the UFC’s straight up corruption. Many of us could see the holes in her game, but we had to put up with Joe Rogan lying about her “outstanding” stand up game. All the while fight fans watch stiff, robotic movement, zero footwork, constant retreat backward, never looking for angles and a total lack of rotation in her punches. Joe Rogan is the greatest MMA announcer of all time; he knows the fight game; he also knows he straight up lied to Ronda, the fans, and Edmond Tarverdyan when he was on Joe’s podcast show. Joe was never “amazed” at how “good” her hands were. Joe never really believed she could compete in the 135-pound men’s weight class. The UFC was selling a product, and Joe was a good employee selling Ronda for the UFC. Nunes shut them all up, thanks, champ!
That fight card was pretty darn good! She’s done, I don’t think anyone can come back mentally after those two lost plus the internet memes :rofl: She’s rich now though so she’s the one :rofl:

I am old as fuck, I tell you to let you know I have actual experience and am not “talking out of my ass”. And I am not talking about “gym time” hell grandmas have “gym time” LOL
To claim she was not a “great champion” is a fanboy response to a champion losing.
She was a Bronze medalist in Judo, the Strike Force Bantam Weight Champ, and defended her belt 12 times.
She lost twice and now it is over.
