Rubber material removal on condor tank?
I recently got a tank sent to me, and i just want to clean it, but not while it’s on the tank…..
Does anyone know a way to remove this without destroying it?
It seems stuck to the tank… I can remove the butt plate (props to who ever made that) but it won’t slide off, any ideas anyone?

Anyway, you can use my air compressor..i have nozzles/tips that will fit under the cover to blow it off

Mine was not going on withput help ,it was bran new. Did this only one time in 2009. But the heat and soapy water did the trick.
I imagine i found the info on here. But i was not going to tear up that bran new cover.

use the blow gun of your shop compressor in the screw hole at the back. Will come right of. To put it back on just push it back on. No need for soapy water is my experience! The front one use hot tapwater!
OK, so heat it up, and then blow high pressure air under it! (90-110 psi.). 😆 😉
heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun, then work your finger or something under the edge of the rubber and work around the bottle as you are pulling down ,
keep working around the bottle and slowly pulling down and around the bottle . untill you get the cover off.
to put it on, heat it again , and spray the bottle and the inside of the cover with soapy water, dawn dish soap, and slip it right on
Yep! Blow high pressure air under it from the valve end of the bottle. It will ballon and shoot off! 😀 Or was that a sexual thing I was thinking about? 😕

You also can try some warm water with dishwasher detergent, pour it inside the rubber and star pulling down slowly, it worked for me 🙂
