Q:

RWS 54

Any one shot the RWS 54. Thinking about a new gun in .22 with iron sights, maybe Williams peep.

Its a shroud – somewhat simply, only three holes or so milled into the end cap which extends within the carbon fiber about 3 inches to give 4 chamber’s.

Thats a nice barrel cover ninja. is it a shroud or just for looks.

fwarden you had better be in good shape, cause they have a heavy spring in there.

you don’t have to worry about going thru too many pellets.

I built a shroud for my 48 , and it quietens down the down range report a bit, makes it a little quieter than a M.34 RWS.

I bought one used –

I’d buy another, very accurate and very easy to shoot accurately. I think if I was buying new I’d get a TX200 though.

Thanks for the input. I have a few air guns and am looking for somthing different. I used to shoot high power and dont think the weight will bother me..but we are all getting older. I havent had my hands on one as we have no dealers that I know of in Maryland.

Here’s a short review I wrote on one some time back….

MY buddy had a 54 and he said it was very accurate, i have the 48 and it will really shoot, dont really need it now that i have the condor.

The 54 is a good gun and very accurate. Pretty darn heavy though.
