RWS P 5 Magnum Safety Recall 2008
Hello, I have a RWS P5 Magnum that I bought from a friend a few years ago. I bought it Not working, I did not think much of it. I took it to Airguns of Arizona to be repaired. Well $116.00 dollars later it just recently broke again. So I did a little research about a recall. I found out back in 2008 that model was safety recalled. No, Airguns of Arizona did not mention anything about a safety recall they just took my hard earned money and that was it.
You and I would think that if you and your company work on any type of airgun for a repair the first thing I would check would be for a safety RECALL with the manufacture on that particular model before taking on the repair, a repair that the manufacture would do for free. And also tell the owner about the said RECALL.

Piston W/Seal # 305329
Cocking lever,rear # 306918
Safety latch # 306859
After AOA fixed it , my son cocked it and it went off by it self, lucky that we are both safe gun owners. lucky for AOA!
It feels like a different gun. I mean the safety is a lot more harder to push off,it sounds more solid when you cock it,less vibration.
I know it was FIXED RIGHT!

This is what was waiting at home for me today. RWS Umarex U.S.A. Lifetime warranty. GOT TO LOVE IT!!!!
Umarexusa came through and replaced the old P5Magnum that they could not fix. UMAREXUSA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,All, Yesterday when I got home there was a message on my machine from Umerex. Arron told me my RWS P 5 Magnum cannot be repaired.
He also said that they were going to replace the P5 Magnum with a LP 8 air Pistol. I don’t know anything about an LP 8. I know I do not want that P5Magnum BACK! I did check it out on there website. WOW 700fps,Ambi Safety,11mm scope rails. It is priced at about $300.00 U.S. WAY TO GO UMEREX!!!!

This is the Piston AOA Took out of the RWS P 5 Magnum.
The gun did not work when I bought it.
The RWS P5Magnum Failed again. After UmarexUSA did the Safety Recall Repairs. The gun broke ,It want off in my hands,lucky I was by my self and no other people or pets were around. I contacted UmarexUSA, Aaron Manness Said to mail the gun back to them with copy’s of previous repairs. Done!
I thought made in Germany was a good thing. The P5 Magnum was shooting very well. lots of power,good solid hook up ,it sounded very solid not like before the recall repair.
So far, I bought the gun it did not work. I took it to AOA.$116.00. It went off by itself after not to many rounds through it.So I look up Safety recall on RWS P5Magnum.
I found that there were Approximately 7,250 RWS P5Magnums sold Nation wide.Recall Applies to guns with serial numbers between 03316930and 03344321 printed on left side of barrel. Mine is in there,Lucky me!
