I would bet the factory put air in it to test fire it. Then left 100 bars in it.

Good chance of that, AA apparently do test fire the rifles before they ship…

Some sellers put air in them to insure the can actually hold air.

Don’t sweat it.

Just make sure you don’t bang it on the table or test shoot it into a window screen in the garage 😆

Well, I’m looking at the manual I got with my gun, as far as filling a totally empty air cylinder, it states:

“”If the rifle is empty, the mechanism will need to be cocked to allow the firing valve to close. If the rifle is not cocked when the tank is opened or the pump is used, the air will pass the valve and exhaust through the barrel.”

Actually I had to cock my modded 2250 first before turning on the on/off valve on the bulk bottle, or the C02 would escape thru the barrel as well.

Tip, my gun had air in it to when I picked it up, not to worry, hey, you got some free air with the gun. 🙂

I’d lent my Scuba to Cygnusx the week before my 410 came and I WISH it had come with 100 bar in it because I couldn’t fill it with my pump.- as riff said, it just dumps right out of the barrel.

I called Pyramid and they said that they usually ship them with at least some air in if you order it with a pump so you can fill it. If you order it by itself they don’t do anything, or at least they didn’t – maybe they got a lot of complaints and started doing it as a matter of routine. I’d bet the retailer you got it from filled it for the above reason.

In the end I jerry rigged a Paintball tank and filled it to 800 psi from that and pumped the rest of the way, then spent ages shooting and pumping because I was afraid the CO2 would swell the o-rings.

I would bet the factory put air in it to test fire it. Then left 100 bars in it.

im trying to figure out who put air in it.

Anything around 50 bars or less, the tank will dump.

Its a total pain in the ass to get a 410 to refil from empty, at least it is with mine.

Congrats on a very nice gun. This is normal to have at least some pressure in the air tube. The worst thing is NO air in there, it’s no good for the seals, they can get messed up with no pressure. Always leave some air pressure in your gun.
