Q:

S410 Power adjuster

ANyone here have info on the addition of a power adjuster on the old-style (bolt) s4xx series guns??? Pomona Air Guns offers it as a mod for $60.00 but I hate to ship my gun 3000 miles and have to wait 4-6 weeks to get it back..hell shipping both ways would be about $90.00 😯 so it’s not such a good deal with that figured in…if it’s only $60.00 for PAG to mod it, it sure;y can’t be very labor intense, or require a lot of parts…Just wondering what all it invloves…sure would save me time and money thanks for any information about it 😀

Packrat,

Why would you want to do it? Are you looking for less power out of it? I doubt a “grub screw” type restrictor will do much for an increase in shot count if that’s what your going for. Just curious as I too have the same one you have…but I don’t see the need for such a mod.

Steve at Pomona is a great guy to deal with and he knows what he is doing. I must admit that I don’t like shipping guns either. He’s an hour from me so it’s just a cruise to me. He worked on my buddies S410 Classic and my friend has nothing but good things to say about him and his work.

This may help power rehave a UK Air Arms S410 but it has a power adjuster, it is a grubscrew that restricts the transfer port. It is located on the right side of the rifle.

I will take a pic if you want

Dave

I would be interested as well…. I did send an S4xx to them a long time ago to have it modded and I believe it was a sort of transfer port restrictor, but I’m not 100% sure.
