Sand test of Matador

Sorry for lack of English subtitles but I believe you will understand everything.

1. First speed test of clean gun.
2. Pouring sand to the breech.
3. Testing without shooting to find out if it can be cocked.
4. Testing speed to find out if it influence to the work of the gun.
5. Disassembling the gun to show the sand inside.

Thus it is proved that EDgun product are designed to live in different conditions from being loved and cleaned to hard life outdoor without any influence to their characteristics.

In the guns with line hammer, like most of them it would be impossible, any sand part in the line hammer will run you almost immediately to the speed change or just jam the hammer.

yet another tough Russian design

It’s really a tough gun. I wish I have all of them. Just order a .177 lelya for now.

Are you challenging other airguns with “ice water challenge”? 🙂

Interesting video Ed, I can certainly see how the sand could have more effect inline hammer designs. I do like your guns. !!

In Russia we have restriction about the energy of air guns, it is 3 Joles. As guns have from 40 to 120 Joles, there is a pin, which keeps the hammer spring in the normal position, if you take it off, the energy drops down to 3 Joles immediately. I don’t make it, that is what people make themselves. As I follow the law and sell them 3 Joles guns 🙂
