I did see the video before, but after watching it again something is wrong there.
My m44 is twice as big, and it kicks pretty darn hard, and like I said has a big fireball that shoots out of it.
That thing has no fireball and he seems to hold on to it with relative ease. I wonder if they were using some custom loads.
Or it could just be the angle and I don’t know how to see a hard recoiling gun held in that position. But if they shot that at night I am willing to be there would be lots of flame. Huge bullet for that barrel.

I ran into a guy in the mountains carrying a Remington 600 that was hacked up like that. He was hunting with dogs and says it workers better than a M1 carbine or 30-30 trapper.
If someone just did that randomly, I’d agree, it’s a shame.
But that was probably done during the war, and I don’t think the ruskies were worried too bad about messing up their rifles, since there were a trillion of them.
Tis a shame though.

I bet that sucker is LOUD too. My m44 is loud because the barrel is too short for that cartridge, I can’t imagine that little thing. Be a very intimidating fireball that would come out of the front.

Nah, those russian guns can’t explode. I don’t think it’s possible for one to fail. Better than the ak-47. I love em. 😀
Of course, I can’t imagine trying to hold on to that….
