Waited a year for it to arrive….serial #6 . First impression is it needs some wood on it somewhere, stock and grips. I am used to MCTs, Royales, 410, edgun and so on. Got to get a scope for it now. I’m good for rifle scopes, poor on pistol scopes. What does the team recommend ?

LOL I took it out of the box instinctively put the stock on and a scope and zeroed it at same drop 1/4″ at 10 and it hits dead center at 25 with diablo Exacts. I started with 2000 Pounds of pressure, it already had 1000 when I recieved it. Then went to 2500 and then too 3000.
The 28 grain EJ’s shot good at 25 but not a tack driver. The Diablo exacts shoot good from 10 to 25 virtually tack driving.
3000 is not a good place to use the gun because it just don’t like 3000, and I personally highly recommend not trying to make it like it, because it shoots too good on 2500 all way down to 1500. About 4 clips and thats plenty hunting off of one fill. As a matter of fact I filled up my benjamin discovery bottle and used it regulated at 2000 for a few tries and it really is a good carry to the field bottle in case you need to do some plinking of adjusting and then hunting.
It is easy to carry light and can still shoot off handed even with the stock on it. A 4 powered scope is all you need, i don’t think 45 yards would be recommended for a humane kill on a Squirrel, so keep it in shot gun range, and you’ll be fine. Still hunting is the best cause you can wait on the game, and at the end of the day you won’t be worn out, carrying it for it is definitely light. I said it then and I’d say it now, i wont trade my Air force Talon ss for this gun straight up, but it is still a good gun to carry around and maybe run upon a ground hog ir Rabbit or Squirrel.
I like the gun over all, but the only thing it has over my 15 year old crosman multi pump is the PCP and the stock. 😀 Oh and the Scope mounting system LOOL.
The gun will work as good on 2000 as it will on 2500 PSI. So don’t wear your self out pumping it too 3000. As aa matter of fact ,although I didn’t use my Chrono, I think it hits harder in teh 2000 range as far as pressure is concerned, I’ll do some chronos on it tomarrow if the sun is out.
