Q:

Say hello to the Blackbird

Just got my second generation Drozd the other day. The “Blackbird”. Instead of a 30 round clip, it now holds almost 400 BB’s and uses 3 Co2 cartridges or 1 Airsource cartridge. I’ve put one of JimC’s 15″ barrels and faux supressors on it and it’s shooting in the 640’s. Once we get an HPA adapter machined for it, I should be able to get it into the high 700’s or low 800’s. My original Drozd with a 24″ barrel shoots around 840.

I WANT ONE…… 😈 😈

We’ll be expcgting yhour review.

A_P… The shroud on it is a “faux” shroud. The barrel extends all the way trhough it and actually screws into the very end of it to keep everything tight. It is for looks only. Fortunately, it’s not to loud to begin with. My 1st gen. Drozd is a little louder on HPA, but not by a whole lot.

Those are way cooler than the first gen. 400 BBs should last… what? 30-45 seconds?

Will shrouds function efficiently when firing full auto from one of these things up around 800 fps.
