Q:

SCBA air tank ?

Hi,

Can you transfer air from a SCBA air bottle filled to 4500 psi to a scuba bottle or some other type of bottle that will hold 3000psi? If so, what type of valves etc. would you need to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Jim

The Airforce clamp is on the SCUBA. The airforce clamp has a bleed screw.

Ah, I see it now, sorry.

That’s a plumb wonderful idea! How about a close up of the fitting you have to connect to the A.F. scuba clamp please. WoooHOOOO!!! 1000 posts. Did I win?

I top up my scuba with my 4500 psi scba.

Yeah you can do that. You’d need a male to male foster Q.C. fitting.

I have an SCBA bottle that I use to fill my air bottle for the condor. I wanted to get extra air bottles whether it be SCUBA tanks or any other air bottles that can handle 3000psi or better. I am fortunate enough to get my SCBA bottle filled for free. I was just wondering if their are any other types of air bottles that I can use to transfer from SCBA air bottle into another type of bottle. Thanks

I think you can fill your gun tank directly from an scba tank??? Take both tanks to an airgun smith and he will fix you up.
