Q:

Scope and Rings Locked down.

Well July is upon us and I am in the 2 to 3 week neighborhood for delivery of my .25 Vulcan. I sold my .25 Marauder Bull pup, Hawke Sidewinder and a bag of P-rod parts today for $1225.00 so I pulled the trigger on a new scope and rings for the Vulcan.

I have been researching a few scopes for a while and I think this Falcon will do nicely. The Hawke rings with picatiny rails will allow me to ditch my accessory ring that holds my torch for night sniping. Damn Tom Petty had it right, “The waiting..is the hardest part”

Family Man,
Sorry if I derailed your topic. 😳
The scope mount Talon Tunes, Tony put on my Vulcan just fits in the case. It doesn’t appear to be a low profile. It has the quick release levers. Tony had detached and boxed it separately I guess as a precaution for shipment. It was right on zero for me when I reattached it. The Vulcan with scope doesn’t appear to move when I close the case and give it a light shake.

Lurker, don’t forget to add in a beer can-holder, can-opener, frying pan, and water bottle compartment …very important especially when hunting. No point in putting these items in a separate bag when you can put them all on your gun. :thumb:

What about a Bi pod… thinking swivel stud and kit is simpler.

My scope takes up all the picatiny rail so I’m wondering where to hang a laser and torch.
I’ll probably try to weigh it down with an IR camera and monitor that is collecting dust for now.

Has anyone mounted another picatiny rail to their Vulcan ❓
