scope maxed out in elevation???
ok i sighted in the condor and the scope is maxed out in elevation but i am still hitting 3 inches low??? what do i do?

Site it in for 30 yards and just aim a little high at 10 yards.
I bet if you shot at 30 yards, you will be shooting high.
scopes are not made to compensate for 3inch difference between the scope and barrel, in 10 yards.

you can also use 35mm film for shims if you dont want to use the beer can..
Mine did the same thing, I thought I would go nuts trying to get it right..I finally drilled and tapped a set screw through my scope riser and actually angled the scope downward towards the front of the gun until I had plenty of adjustment… 😉
Fack the shims, there’s no way that an AF gun should require them….they only bend your scope and bend your brain trying to make them work.
Your mount is the problem, throw it out the window, get rid of it.
Get a Beeman 5039 adjustable mount and be done with it.
There’s lots of things to futz with when it comes to AF guns… the scope mount shouldn’t be one of them.
The Beeman works, and it works easy, trust me….
My two cents, with a $25 casino token tossed in just for the hell of it. 😉
Oh, and optically center your scope before sighting in, no matter what mount you have.

Take a coke can and make 2 shims.
First swap your rings front to back and try again.Sometimes one ring is a bit taller then the other.
if that fails cut 2 shim from a Coke Can and place under the scope at the rear mount. Snug up the rings and try again. It should be better

From how far away?
Shim it. Specifically, shim the front ring to lower and rear to raise POI.
Note: I had the same issue on my Condor with the AF scope.

Yes. From 10 yards you are going to be low.
As wok said, shim the bottom rear rings. It will do no good shim the top of front, as the scope tube is already bottomed out on the lower front ring. Shimming the top front ring wont change that.
I need to get a set of adjustable rings myself to be able to use all of the adjustment available in the New Zeiss Target Scope with side focus I just picked up. It’s a great Scope, but a lot of the adjustment is wasted the way the mounts are made.
