What mount(s) will work for my new Edgun R3?
Thanks!

The biggest test of mount/scope/rifle integrity as to POA staying consistent it knocks. Couple with the big hubbles many are fond of and good mounts are cheaper when bought right the first time.

As I’m adding to hoots comment…they all hold great being that the edgun doesn’t have a recoil as that from a real rifle…I just shot my r3 .22 and the gun barely moved.

Exactamento! Although a real test mule for scope mounts would be a magnum springer. Much worse than a “real rifle” for mounts and scopes.

I’ve had Leopold at $75, and brand X at $20.00 from Ebay and Walmart.

All of them worked fine. Never had a failure, never came lose, no problem mounting the scope in 30mm or 1″, so my advice is to get what you can afford and simply use them.

But, if you MUST have the very best, then knock yourself out. The sky’s the limit. All I’m saying is there isn’t a penny’s difference in the outcome. They all hold the scope tightly in place.

Any Weaver/Picatinny mounts will work. Those Warne mounts are superb but little too much “permanent” mount if/when you need to remove the scope while you´re tinkering with the gun.
I myself have Hawke or Sportsmatch mounts on mine depending which mood i´m in … 😯

Check these out. They are a perfect fit on my M3. Very well made, good looking and very strong.

Anything designed to mount to weaver / picatinny rails.
