Scope, Rings, And adjustment
Hey Everyone,
I just have a couple questions maybe some of you can answer. I just got my Cricket .25 last week and I an currently building her up. I like some of the heavy duty tactical scope rings but if I have to dial a lot of adjustment out of the scope it may not be my best option. I am looking at the Burris Zee signature rings but they don’t look real strong to me. I really like the Badger Ordinance rings I used on my Remington 700 LTR, probably overkill.
I am ordering a Hawke Sidewinder 30 Tactical 6.5-20-42 and rings TBD.
First, how many of you just mounted your scope and it was optically correct, and if it wasn’t how much adjustment did you have to dial in and which direction.
Second, do any of you elevate the rear mount so you can shoot at longer distances (100yds+)
Third, and I know this has been discussed to no end but I just can’t make up my mind as to which rings I should get. Please, tell me what you like and why, if that isn’t too much to ask.
Thanks for all your help in advance.

These are low Weaver mounts. On firearms I always use Badger rings but due to lack of recoil I don’t think they are necessary.
I have a set that are medium and thought they were too low for me. I didn’t even open them so PM if you want them. Bought them last week
