Q:

Scope searching

Trying to figure out the best scope for my AirForce Condor SS. It’s in .25. Looking at these two. Hawke Optics 4-16×44 AO Varmint Rifle Scope, 1/2 Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1″ Tube or Aeon 6-24×50 AO Classic Rifle Scope, Trajectory Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 30mm Tube

Optics/Nightvision

I’d go for the Hawke. Great brand and you get a lot of scope for your dollar! Check this one out. X 24 with mounts. :fishinghole:

I do like those Hawkes. Thanks

Michael,

Be careful of putting a lot of power on top of your SS. It depends on what kind of shooting you are going to do, but if you are walking around in the woods hunting, you will likely want to dial it way down and if the top is way up there, you are usually limited in how far down you can go. I have a Sun Optics 8-32 x 56 that for me is just WAY too much scope for most hunting, but is great for target.

Thanks. I do like walking or sitting in the woods. Mainly for relaxation, but having the Condor will be more fun. I have another AirForce, but it’s a mile long. Wanted short gun. Think that Hawke might be the way to go.
