Scored a couple old airguns today
I bought 2 airguns today for $40, one is an old Diana Model #34 and the other is a Crosman American Classic 10 pump Pistol both in .177
The Diana 34 is a little rough with some scratches on the wood and some oxidation spots on the metal, but I will be damned, the thing was shooting 835-845 fps consistently over the 15 pellets I put through it 😯 It is missing the front sight, anyone know where I can find one? otherwise I probably will just scope it.
The Crosman 10 pump pistol is in better shape and shoots pretty good, I am not a big fan of them, but I figure I could use it to be all stealth and finish off squirrels, that I didn’t get a clean shots on when I am shagging carcasses in the yard. I tried using my Webley Tempest, but other then looking cool, that thing was a Joke the squirrels would laugh at me when I tried to finish them off plus if I wasn’t within a foot or two, I couldn’t even hit them with that piece of shit.

It doesn’t hammer as hard as my 48 did before the tune. I was impressed because it looks like a beater, but shoots nice, I will call it “Garage Gun” and lean it next to the door for easy access

That 34 is a springer, you don’t need sights on that thing, check the dovetail it probably riped out from the recoil. 😆

Got some questions for you:
Your signature says you have an RWS 48 tuned by a guy named John in PA.
Is this guy still doing tunes for those and how did it work for you?
I’ve got a heavily used 48 in .22 cal and am looking for someone to take it apart, clean/swap worn parts and get it shooting to specs or better. If John is still working on these, I’d like some contact info.
