Q:

Scuba dolly…

Well a while back I asked about a dolly for my scuba tank. There was lots of suggestions and a few examples. Thanks for those by the way.
So I finally got around to putting one together this weekend. I started with a 8″ PVC pipe form the job site and cut it to size that would be close. Then I made the cut out for the tank to be strapped on. Then added an axle and casters along with some straps to hold the tank in place. I did add a piece of foam that you cant see in the pics to keep it from sliding up and down in the tube. All in all it works good for what I wanted it to do. Thanks for the help you guys gave me in the past.

The tube before cutting.

The front cut out for the strapping.

Put the bottom in.

Cut to size so that the stamping can be seen at the top of the tank.

Add the casters.

Pant with plastic pant.

All the strapping on as well as the casters.

All put together with the tank and all.

Cool setup pinguino, thanks for posting that 😀

Yep Its not a carbon fiber. Plus I’m lazy and it keeps it from rolling around in the back of the truck or me having to tie it down.

I don’t think that is carbon fiber. It probably weighs like 30 pounds.

Great work, but why do it? Surely you can pick up a 10lb tank instead of rolling it around?

“O” that’s the toy box. 😆 Lots of goodies in there.

Heck with the tank, check out that safe! )
