scuba tank ???
ive used the fill calculator on airhog. my question is when you do the calculations and it gives you a number of fills, is it calculating till the tank can give you the fill requested of untill the tank is empty? im looking at a 80cf 3600 tank and the luxfor 4350 106cf tank.

I could be dead in 15 years! we could be shooting .177 rocket launchers!
Buy the friggin tank use it and be happy. what is that 20$ a year for a tank?? come on you all spent $1000 or more on pcp set ups already. I have 2 tanks because they only fill to 3000 psi by me. I get plenty of shots from that and then I pay the whopping 4$ to top it off.
No one will fill it after 15 years but I have heard of people still using them and filling them with there own equipment.
im pretty sure there trash.
Can you re certify the tank after 15 years or its considered trash?
found a different fill calculator, its set up for paintball tanks and pressure but i think it gives a better idea of fills. http://www.scubatoys.com/paintball/scubafills2.asp
$360.41 just seen it here but i just checked the shipping quote and it was 90 to my location http://www.scubageartech.com/store.php/scubadiving/pd200293/Luxfer_106_Composite_Cylinder_with_Xs_Scuba_Din_Valve_Whi_by_XS_Scuba#images
i went to my local fire dept no luck on fills from them. as the county fire houses have an air truck that comes around and fills/swaps the tanks out, even goes to the fires to swap/fill the tanks for them. so ill do some calling around, even if it get the 4350 tank i know i can at least get it filled to 4000 and not have to drive very far.
What’s the best price you’ve found on the 4350/106?
Keep in mind after 15 years that tank is garbage.
yeah that i know, but who knows what they will come out with in that time frame. i can get the steel tank 3600 80cf tank for 275. thats the only shop ive checked so far. but being in florida theres scuba shops every where. im gonna stop by my local vol fire dept and see if they would fill a scba tank for me. if so ill look for one of them.
Keep in mind after 15 years that tank is garbage.
You are right…. You have come to the right place to ask questions…
These guys know most everything there is to know from manufacturing
to cleaning…. Most every gun has been owned and tested by a member
or members here and there is a gun that will be perfect for your
purposes, you just need to take your time and find what fits…. Then you
can try everything else on the market…lol
thats what i thought, but i wanted to make sure. theres just so much information to absorb in pcp its unreal.
You will not be able to empty the SCUBA tank by filling the gun tank…. The lowest the SCUBA tank psi will ever be is about 200psi more than your lowest psi on the gun tank…. I think the lowest psi in a gun tank that I have heard of is 1,600psi so your SCUBA tank would need filling once it reaches a psi of about 1,800psi….
It’s giving you what you’ll get real world with the parameters YOU plugged in. The 106/4350 gives more fills than ANY other scuba tank on the market right now.

I hear what your sayin slayer. But some will buy this gun and slap a dirt cheap piece of glass on it (Me) others will spend 3X the gun cost on glass. What I should do is see if my friend and I could find a compressor for $800-1000. Then, no more time and gas driving to the scuba shop.
