Peter I think there’s a place on Blackstone near you. Better check with them, unless you hold a dive cert. they don’t HAVE to sell you a fill. BUT if you buy from them, what it cost you more up front Vs. flea bay might be recouped over the long haul. HTH.
Make sure they are 68 cubic feet, not 68 cubic inches. I am not very educated in the paintball stuff. Definitely is a different valve assembly, and depends on what you local shop can fill. Paintball stuff is like AG stuff, some use C02, some use HPA, someone else will know more about this than me, WOK is the paintball queen. 😆
i check ebay and i see a whole lot for paint ball under 200…will these work?
most of them are 68/4500…
Not to diss Airhog, but check ebay or the Yellow, if you can wait for a deal, they can be had for much less. Fire dept’s sell their old stuff all the time, and even if the hydro is close to up, and you have local access to get it hydro’d, you can find deals for much less than $700. Mine was a brand new without a scratch on it 88CF 4500 scott air tank, that retails to the fire dept’s for over a grand, for less than two hundred shipped to me. Deals are out there. Just gotta look around. 😉
I have a small carbon fiber tank Around 300.00 shipped. Its okay to take along on hunts but sucks if its your only tank to fill from. I only get 3-maybe 4 fills max. I also have a luxfur 106/4350 440.00 shipped. The gauge set up you need is 169.00. Its big and heavy but if your just shooting around your house its awesome. If you want something lighter I would get the 88 4500 carbon from airhog. I think its around 700.
thanks guy…now time for some research
I like the steel tanks myself, They are tuff and they have a fill pressure to 3442psi… I have one of these in a 100cf tank and soon as I get the extra funds I am going to buy the larger 130cf tank to go with it… Just not that many places around here to fill to 4500…
peter559: If you go 80 cu ft scuba, make sure they will fill it to 3200 psi and buy 2 tanks and cascade fill.
I bought 2 used 80 cu ft for $ 200.oo that were 4 years old, so had to have them hydro’d last summer, $25.oo each. $250 in 2 tanks not a bad deal. This was their first hydro and my 2 local dive shops say they fill all 80 cu ft tanks to 3200 psi? Tanks must be hydro tested every 5 years or dive shop wont fill?
Check your local Scuba/Dive shops for used tanks, you’ll be surprised at what ya find?
Using the Airhog Airguns fill calculator I get about 21 fills and wind up dragging em to the dive shop about once a month*
You can cascade fill with the Airforce fill clamp, just top off from second scuba tank. First tank gives a partial and the second scuba tops off the airforce tank to 2800 psi. My condor wastes any air above 2800 fill??
21 2800 psi refills
Goto the bottom of Joe Brancato web page and read HowTo cascade fill. Actually read the whole page for Safety Sake.

Airhog fill calculator (Actually 80 cu ft scuba tanks only hold 78 cu ft of Air )

BTW what stower1 said : Don’t buy just one scuba and also make sure you can get those 4500 psi fills before buying?
sam 😉
First, find a place that can fill it for you, then find out if they fill to 3000, or 4500 PSI. If they can fill to 4500, i would go for a 4500 PSI, 88 Cubic ft, SCBA tank. I found a brand new one on Ebay a couple years ago for a hundred bucks, but make sure the hydro is current, or you will have to have that done before anyone will fill it, also make sure there are no visual defects, as this will cause it to fail a hydro inspection. Find out if your fill place has an SCBA adapter, as most scuba or paintball places dont have SCBA fittings. You will also need a fill assembly, i got mine from Joe Brancato on the Yellow, good guy that sells good stuff. You will never want to pump again after you fill your tank effortlessly the first time, while you relax. 😀 A scuba tank usually are only good to 3000 PSI, which will only get you a couple of fills, not really worth it. SCUBA, and SCBA are very different. 😉
Wait by the sea until a likely victim comes along 😉
Maybe take his weight belt for a heavy hammer as well?

A 68/45 is 68ci. and would be for HPA, I think you want a bigger tank.
