I still need to come up with a better butt plate than what I’ve dealing with now,….possibly I just steal rabbits design,:twisted: or quite being so cheep and get the morgan.

I’ll try for on this weekend if I’m not to sick of sawdust, I’ve been and will be milling fir and redwood all week for a shop on a buddy’s property, so we’ll see if I’m up for it.

I’m glad you all dig the new one. after running a tin of silver arrows through it (by the way DO NOT buy those pellets, 9 out of 10 hit sideways at 45 yards with about a 7″ group) I decided it’s a keeper, so I’ll take her off and sand it up to 220 or so to really bring that old growth grain out.
grip???? I guess I’ll start with a stock replica to see what I’m gettin into and go from there, should be interesting to say thr least.

At least its a soft wood, been at a cocobolo set for awhile turing out nice, but if sinks in water ,means anything to you, you’ll catch my drift.
Looks very good so far, nice lines, sleek. If i was smarter i’d keep mine simple.
Stick with the tried and true CPs, JSBs and clones like BSA wolverines, Kodiaks. The others are almost a novelty i tried silver arrows they did OK. JSB predators are the badest, most acurate pellet i’ve yet to shoot, but at $13 a tin they do the same as there non ballistic tip brothers and the heavier kodiaks. A head shot is a head shot be it a $.07 or $.04 pellet. Purchasing a tin is worth it for the experience of shooting a very accurate pellet for everyday shooting its Kodiaks for me.
