Hey good news guys. Can’t wait to get mine :).

Is anyone concerned about the 1.6kg or 3.53lb trigger pull?

Mike said it’s sliding valve. So I believe it’s not adjustable and it’s heavy. That’s real concern and air gauge placement too.

Michael said he will post more about it on his website tomorrow afternoon.

According to Michael there was an explosion on one of the Chinese ports. Luckily the Hubens weren’t in it.

I, probably in a moment of temporary insanity, put down a deposit on one. Obviously, they missed the “end of August” prediction.

Any new word on the status? Have any arrived in the US?

Hi Hoot, I’ll do that! Thank you so much. I appreciate it!

Wow, thanks Hoot. What would you recommend for a desiccant?

Dear J…

Just read your post. There is only one air pump desiccant and it is a pellet form that can be heated to remove the moisture it accumulates (the pellets are white when “fresh” and turn blue when saturated with moisture. As a general rule, each pump maker has it’s own desiccant device for their pump. It fits on the intake valve and moisture is removed before the air enters the pump and heated by compression.

If you have a pump, check with the pump maker about what kits they have to remove moisture from the pumped air. Instructions on how to refresh the pellets should be included with the kit.

Wish I had some extra scratch for one of these. They look well made…HMMM… Might have to have a sell-off.

I read somewhere they are synthetic. Which is what the first shipment is going to be.

Nice wood on the one pictured. Is the black stock synthetic or painted wood?

Are dessicants recommended for hand pumps?

If you live in the desert you might get by without one. Just remember when air is compressed it gets quite hot, and any moisture in the compressed air will then condense on cooler metal surfaces. This speeds up the caustic effect of oxygen on the metal molecules. ALL metals will corrode, given enough time, in the presence of moisture, of which oxygen is a component. Rust is the way nature returns all processed/refined metallic minerals to their natural ore configuration.

It’s a good investment in protecting the insides of your air cylinder.

”IF” this gun is as advertised I will buy one in a heartbeat..guess time will tell

This must be the place to learn the latest info. I wonder what the story is on testing and arriving at a production model. Ought to be an interesting story.
