Semi Auto Target Pistol Mod

Not a Talon but target pistol such as the Steyr LP 50 or similar. Are any of these pistols known to be able to achieve 12lbft? I am looking to make a neat little compact rifle out of one as I am bored. I am not looking at the Falcon or anything like that but a proper target pistol. Can anyone recommend a good base for this gun? Thanks
