Q:

Shooting with a CO2 adapter HPA rig

A while back Bean, bless his heart, sent me a couple dead CO2 adapters.
well fixed them up and got all inpsired to mount them to my Vulture for some low noise .177 plinking. No idea what the reg is set at likely only 850psi and tophat set at 0.100″, very light hammer spring comparitively speaking and I’m shooting.

Seems to like H&N .177 Heavies (Kodiak Heavies) and can put them into one little hole in the snow bank 🙂

thanks Bean,

Gonna enjoy this. 3,000psi in tank and 30 shots later I cannot see any loss in pressure.

My pleasure, glad you could revive them and put them to use.
I think you are the first one I’ve seen post who actually brought one back to life without replacing the internals.

I think my AF rig is a CO2 only setup now but with the colder weather I’m keeping my eye open for an affordable reg’d HPA tank to try.

Better make sure you have your snow bank license/stamp.
