Short & Quiet
Hello…
I need some advise on a Talon build…. I’m trying to build a talon ss that is the shortest possible with a small shroud maybe, that can fit in a backpack for hunting in the woods… It has to be real quiet… Any suggestions? Would a Talon SS be a good choice for something like this? Should I go in another direction?
Any help or suggestion would be helpful…
Thank you,
Drewll

A simple 1″OD aluminum rod 3″ long, with the boreline bored to .260-.280″ and three .75″ holes bored thru it side to side makes a very quiet and foolproof baffle system for the SS frame.
|OOO| with a bore hole down its length. Add a vented front bushing and it wont sound like a pellet gun anymore to the uninitiated.
To get much quieter requires an additional tube length beyond the end of the frame.
