Short effective shroud for Condor?
Has anyone made a short effective shroud for a Condor or Condor powered Talon/TSS with a short barrel 18″ or less? Tried making a few w/ 1″ Alum. tubing but not satisfied with the results. Pics and a review would be great!!!

Ahhh ok. So do you know what that piece is? Is it some type of sound
dampening material??
Most moderators here seem only to use baffles, but it seems most of the ones in the U.K. use some material like felt to augment the baffling.
If you want to give it a go let me know and I’ll work with you to make it. 😀

The frame pic’d is a TSS frame where my Stealth is like a Talon frame (Shorter up front) so my barrel is roughly right around the 3rd. spacer back from the front. I tried the combo you have pic’d, and a few with “bead cloth/pipe w/ holes, pipe /w holes/green 3m pad, screen, with green 3m pad, and bead cloth………….ect. I’m not sure if I can make it a short as I want as the short barrel and Condor valve moves alot of air.
I do have a set-up now that I can hear tank “ping” just need to work a few more ideas to get it where I want to be. The drawback is the shroud is fat, short and ugly, so I may end up sacraficing looks vs. performance.
I’ll keep you updated on it.

This arrangement should work with a 10” barrel. The one pc barrel bushing would give you more room to stack baffels in the frame. The one piece bushing would replace the PW like on my arrow barrels. Should be quiet and not need anything past the end cap! The black dots on the copper spacer represent holes to be lined up with vents drilled under the grip section.

Actually I got a hotrodded Stealth w/ a 10″ .25 barrel so I do have some airspace in the frame to play with. I just looked at Tony’s site and he made a shroud w/ an internal piece to make it extra quite???? I have on of his shroud on my 21″ .25 and it works very well, but i’m trying to keep the OAL as short as possible on the stealth.
Here is a pic of my shrouded .25 18.5” barrel. Its 7.75” and very quiet. I also have one GTBJ made for me that is 9” past the frame end. I would say 8” would be about the minimum on a 18” barrel to get the right amount of baffels/expansion chambers to make it quiet.

It’s called “bead cloth” found in a lot of craft stores.
