Shorty moderator

Has anyone fuxed with the moderator on the Short? The gun is already stinkin’ quiet but I wonder if any slight improvement could be made by replacing the aluminum spacers with something like curlers and felt like in Cricket carbine, Weirauch, Clague, etc. moderators. I know there’s the threaded end cap replacement, but I don’t want to add any length to the short with an additional LDC, small is wonderful.
