SHOT show

Some new stuff at SHOT.

I am super excited about the new line of Ataman. The bullpup M2R has been redesigned. They have switched the bolt into a cocking lever. The stock has been trimmed up as well.

The ultra compact carbine is really neat too. It’s going to be offered in 177 .22 and I was told .25 by pyramyd air. The owner of Ataman wasn’t clear about offering .25 in the ultra compact carbine. The magazine system is spring loaded so it’s self rotating.

The polymag I coming out in .30 caliber

The downside to all things showcased at these tradeshows (IWA/SHOT and etc) is that these products won’t be available for a good 6-12 months. The hype wears off well before they hit shelves and/or they become a relic (e.g., Colibri).

I do agree with you. ..totally. …this is what will happen. …and what is bothering me. …

What would actually shock ME would be if Ed would come out with a statement that the Estonian bridge is finally intact, will not fall again and the EG customer service and parts availability is now working like it should in 21st Century. That would be a real shocker .. :suprisedn:

I can’t wait until the IWA OutdoorClassics trade show! It doesn’t sound like much airgun excitement resulted from the SHOT show.

someone else posted some pics of the Airforce booth, it seems they dont have anything new but 2 more bigbore calibers, they need to start thinking how to redesign this gun, its really outdated.

go to Day 2 and check out the new Leapers 1×8 scope (see American made scope). It is being totally manufactured in Livonia, Michigan. http://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2016/01/2016-shot-show-day-2/ That scope would be perfect for my little Parker-Hale Phoenix (it wears a WInchester 2-7×32 now; it’s a clear little scope and a great buy for close-in work, imo). The Ataman PCPs look pretty good too, especially the carbine and the bull pup.

Thanks for the report, anything new from Airforce Airguns?

Daryl I didn’t see any other high end PCP’s there except Daystate and FX. I didn’t take photos of those two because there was nothing you all haven’t seen already. pyramydair entering the high end PCP market will surely change things. Free shipping and customers service will become the norm.

News at 6?

That Carbine sure it’s sweet looking,

…..couple nice coats of Truckbed lining on that wood stock abd she would be ready to go 😀 😀 😀

Keyser, good reporting. Keep us posted! You’re our eyes and ears. Also, if you see a Taipan dealer, ask “what’s new?”
Darryl

So keyser, Nothing in a small bullpup in a semi-auto ? All single shots and repeaters wither bolt action or side lever are just that . For me and
maybe I don’t know , maybe about everyone on this forum would really like to know about a possible bullpup or shorty in a semi-auto coming
in 2016 on the market . Do you have any news or you do and aren’t going to let us know ?
