Q:

Shots per psi count

I have been looking for a calc or thread about how many shots I will get per tank charge

Now I know power wheel setting, top hat and pellet weight Is a big factor. SOOOOoo

A quick set-up explanation would be greatly thanked.

Damn sorry to ask for full thoughts and work to boot! lol

quote sawtime:

I don’t know about you guys,but, I shoot about 200 kodiaks per fill @ 2800psi pw set at 2.
Tim @ mac1 set mine up, I can dial it up to whack a crow, no prob.
If you shoot paper then power is not an issue, it’s accuracy.

I’m seeing about the same results. I shoot paper with the PW at 2ish.
I can easily get close to 200 shots from a 3000psi fill but I find that accuracy diminishes quickly (from bulls at 20yrds to a 1″ group plus fliers) after about 120 shots.

When I had mine set up stock I got 40-50 shots also.

Yes more info was needed

TSS stock .22
HPA (co2 is pretty well explored i see)

I have a scuba tank (down to 2.2k from paint ball right now)

But with a 2800 fill on the stock set-up AVG is a good start.

Maw, 40 shots sound good to me. If i can go 40 shots before POI drops and I need to top off back to 2850psi thats a good calculating point.

10 shots full power I use 400lbs. another 400 down to 2050psi. at a 2850psi tank, I have shot down to 1100 before but the power slowly drops off, shots go lower and lower, so I’d say 40 shots. I have yet to master the fine art of pw adj. but I tend to go with the little bit of noise I can hear and like to try and keep the pw as low as possible, unless I’m only interstd in power shots, which I’m shying away from now days I want more shots per tank nowdays.

Which gun?
Which Calber?
What Barrel Length
HPA or CO2?
What fill pressure?
