Q:

should I bother??

I just saw a video on u tube called quieting your talon and it was a kid who had put some springs separated by a fender washer followed by alternating between o rings and washers into the barrel followed by the endcap. If done correctly is this worth doing? And also will it reduce velocity? Thanks

Talon/Talon SS

orings and washers wont make much of a difference alone…its good as a finish to the baffel system….but you want to make a couple of chambers before the orings/washer setup

Thanks Adam,I think I’m gonna try the washers and orings first along with venting.

To get the most out of it venting the front bushing and frame along with the baffles will make the most difference.

Just know spacing of the baffles is a preference and not a set rule. Experiment a little and see what works best for you.

Would you do this along with frame and bushing venting or just vent?

thanks for the help!

Welcome,

That video was done by Julien. We have not see him here lately. Maybe he discovered girls.

That is a common way to quiet down the Talon SS and it has no effect on accuracy.

It takes the edge off of the air blast. I did not detect any velocity or accuracy changes after doing it.
