Should I trade.
A guy wants to trade his almost new mac 1 LD for my Disco carbine 8 shot repeater.
My Disco does 700 FPS and puts them in one hole. I had it up for sale this weekend on the yellow and here for 415 bucks.
Would you guys trade?
If memory serves me right the LD’s are a 500 FPS gun?
What are they worth?

the 600s are neat, don’t care for their looks though
you will need to send it out to little Timmy for a rebuild, think Peter Ruut does fine work on them as well as B&A
you can bulk them and extend the barrel to improve performance as stock they don’t have much snort to them and they are pretty much dedicated CO2
So this man I have been dealing with on the trade is in Hawaii.
He tried everything to get me to agree to the trade and finially I yeilded.
Then he calls today on my land line number I did not give him to see if I really existed before he sent the LD. He got it by googling my residence and saw a old number there on a rug hooking business.
Then he informs me he is sending sometnig else to me as a gift that is old.
He said it was a surpirse, and when he sent the tracking # he informed me he is sending me a Crosman 600.
I have wanted a Crosman 600 since I was 11 and have never quite been ready to pull the trigger on one. Riverside you will remember me asking you about them when I first got on this site.
What a nice guy this fellow is, a pleasure to deal with too, and insistant on what he wants I might add.
I hope he, Don Thompson, has as much fun with that carbine as I did.

LD’s are fun as well. I’m waiting for mine on warranty work.
yea the ergo’s are very similar to my Ruger MKIII
thats why i got the ruger cause it was so close to the Crosman MKII/I

I should I know, but I want to turn it into cash asap.
And for 3 decades I shot a Ruger auto with a supressor on it, so the thrill of that is sort of… oh hum..
We will see.
I would suppose it would be worth more as a remanufactured virgin, or hymenoplasty if you will 😆 . 😆

Well, I am going to do the trade. The LD is easy to sell, and I will post it the day I recieve it.
Seems to be a standard long barreled LD with the small LDC adjustable power and two hangy tanks and case. It still has the co2 charge it was shipped from MAC 1 with in it, never fired, paint perfect.
I really liked the carbine, but it is all repeatable to build another.

It is the adjustable model and it has two hangy tanks, it has never been filled and is brand new.
I was asking 415 for mine and he wants to trade gun for gun.
Mac 1 wants 550 for them, would just sell it anyway.

need quite a bit more detail as the LDs can vary greatly depending on vintage and what the customer requested as options
for example some folks dig up a beater sending it off for the base LD which means you still have a crappy looking gun but a crappy looking gun that shoots like a dream
older LDs could be had with the Venom shroud which comands a premium
does it have aftermarket wood grips, one of the custom over size bolt knobs, optics?
check out Tims site and price out the options and conversion cost then add a 125.00+ for the donor gun
price wise they crop up as low as the mid $300 range…{rare} to well over $600…{either trolling for suckers or loaded with options}
if you get in it right they are fairly easy to sell
bought my Venom shrouded LD for $345.00 shipped with all the MAC1 options…{a steal} and sold it for $500.00 a couple months later
