shroud .22 hole size 6 or 6.5mm ?

I’m working on the design shroud .22 and I would like to Ask What is better hole size 6 or 6.5 ?

I use .266″ bore in mine for .22 caliber.
When I made them for .25, I jumped up to .284″ but later expanded it to .300″

Tighter is ok if you are perfectly aligned. But a single bump in the field usually results in clipping and a ruined hunt.

PB suppressor clearance is usually around .008-.015 (.228-.235) so 6mm would be fine unless you are worried about pellets clipping the edge.

As tight a hole relative to the pellet size as you can get away with…..
But a larger hole will be more forgiving re misalignment of course.
